DOMODOMO provides an eating experience that is truly unique and special. Delivering creative variations of Asian inspired cuisine, DOMODOMO appeals to the most discerning of palates. We are committed to quality and only serve the freshest ingredients along with specially harvested seaweed, housemade sauces, and our signature warm rice.
DOMODOMO's menu is created and its kitchen run by Brian Kim, a Culinary Institute of America graduate with over 10 years of experience, which include but are not limited to Nobu, Four Seasons Hotel Dallas and Brushstroke, rated one Michelin star in Manhattan. The menu is constantly updated as Chef Brian experiments with new combinations, using the freshest ingredients of the season.
DOMODOMO is designed by Jae Park, RISD Interior Architecture graduate and retail designer at the world’s largest and most sought after interior architecture firm, Gensler. The 90-seat space stays true to the art of Japanese natural minimalism. The exterior designed with its beautiful distressed wood is reminiscent of a restaurant one might find in a Japanese fishing village, but the interior in contrast has an elegant modern feel.
Family run, DOMODOMO combines the talents of brothers-in-law Jae Park and Brian Kim for an unforgettable dining experience.
DOMODOMO, located at 138-140 W. Houston St. between MacDougal and Sullivan, serves dinner.
