DOMODOMO's menu is created and its kitchen run by Brian Kim, a Culinary Institute of America graduate with over 10 years of experience, which include but are not limited to Nobu and Four Seasons Hotel Dallas; Blue Fin, one of the Top 10 Japanese restaurant in the metropolitan Philadelphia area, Zagat rated (27/30); Brushstroke, rated one Michelin star in Manhattan. The menu is constantly updated as Chef Brian experiments with new combinations, using the freshest ingredients of the season.
DOMODOMO is designed by Jae Park, RISD Interior Architecture graduate and retail designer at the world’s largest and most sought after interior architecture firm, Gensler. The 30-seat space stays true to the art of Japanese natural minimalism. The exterior designed with its beautiful distressed wood is reminiscent of a restaurant one might find in a Japanese fishing village, but the interior in contrast has an elegant modern feel. The wall accents are individually hand cut birch wood, which also matches the long sushi bar countertop. No detail was overlooked, from the sushi counters being measured and cut to fit the exact size of the slate stone serving plates to the rustic country style chairs.
Family run, DOMODOMO combines the talents of brothers-in-law Jae Park and Brian Kim for an unforgettable dining experience.
