[June 29 2020] FOH - NYC, Jersey City location

DOMODOMO is seeking Hosts/Servers for immediate hire for both our NYC and Jersey City, NJ locations! DOMODOMO is a Japanese restaurant famous for its signature handrolls, DOMOKASE (our version of omakase), and modern interpretations of traditional Asian recipes. Following all CDC and City regulations, DOMODOMO is opening for indoor and outdoor seating as we also continue our takeout/delivery service. 

We are seeking talented, hardworking, experienced servers to join our amazing team. 

Job Requirements: 

- experience in Japanese Restaurants (required min. 2 years experience) – knowledge of sushi, Japanese cuisine, Sake, wine preferred 

- attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines 

- displays a confident and professional appearance

- fluent in English 

- legal working status in U.S.

DOMODOMO servers are expected to exceed our guest’s expectations by providing them with the highest level of consistent, professional, and courteous service. Servers are expected to be well versed in our sushi, handrolls, and Asian inspired kitchen dishes as well as our Japanese inspired cocktails, wines, beer, and sake with the correct knowledge of all allergies and dietary restrictions (taught during training). Servers must ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant at all times and be proficient in all aspects of fine dining.
